Daily bet research report
Daily Bet Research Report โ Monday, June 8, 2026 (revised)
Bankroll: $74.08 | Stake (20% AGGRESSIVE): $14.82 | Band: Decimal 1.50+ | Record: 17-7 (70.8%)
Step 3 โ Schedule Verification (corrected)
Confirmed games (cross-checked against NHL.com / MLB.com / NBA.com): - MLB only tonight โ full Monday slate - No NHL โ SCF Game 4 is TOMORROW (Tuesday June 9, 8 PM ET, T-Mobile Arena) - No NBA โ Finals G3 is Wednesday June 10
Key MLB games tonight:
- Yankees @ Guardians, 6:40 PM ET (Progressive Field)
- Mariners @ Orioles, 6:35 PM ET (Camden Yards)
- Red Sox @ Rays, 6:40 PM ET (Tropicana Field)
- Phillies @ Blue Jays, 7:07 PM ET (Rogers Centre)
- Astros @ Angels, 9:38 PM ET (Angel Stadium)
- Brewers @ Athletics, 10:05 PM ET (Sutter Health Park)
- Reds @ Padres, 9:40 PM ET (Petco Park)
- Nationals @ Giants, 9:45 PM ET (Oracle Park)
Pick #1 โ STRONG: Seattle Mariners ML @ ~1.79
Bet: Mariners Moneyline (at Orioles) Decimal odds: ~1.79 (-126 American) Stake: $14.82 โ To win ~$11.71 (returns $26.53)
Step 4 research: - Series context: First game of 4-game set at Camden Yards - Injury report: No major news either side - Confirmed starters: Emerson Hancock (SEA 4-2, 2.80 ERA) vs. Chris Bassitt (BAL 4-4, 5.27 ERA) โ significant pitching edge for Seattle - Bassitt pattern: Same pitcher we faded successfully on 5/28 (Blue Jays beat him). 5.27 ERA is real. - Recent form: Seattle 5-0 vs Baltimore series since 2024; pattern continues - Cross-source consensus: numberFire 60.3% Mariners, BetMGM model agrees. Outlier: SportsGrid prefers Orioles +108 as value. - Park factor: Camden Yards is hitter-friendly which raises variance but doesn't help Bassitt's mediocre ERA
Edge math: - Implied prob at 1.79 = 55.9% - numberFire: 60.3% - My estimate: ~60-63% (pitching edge + recent H2H + Bassitt's struggles confirmed by our prior Blue Jays bet) - Edge: ~4-7% โ Strong tier
Risk flags: - Camden Yards swing-friendly โ one Hancock mistake can flip a tight game - SportsGrid's contrarian Orioles pick is worth noting as a counter-signal - Mariners' offense has been streaky
Pick #2 โ MODERATE: Mariners/Orioles OVER 9 Runs @ ~1.91
Bet: Mariners/Orioles TOTAL OVER 9 runs Decimal odds: ~1.91 (-110 American) Stake: $14.82 โ To win ~$13.49 (returns $28.31)
Step 4 research: - Park factor: Camden Yards is one of the top hitter-friendly venues in MLB - Bassitt's ERA: 5.27 โ he gives up runs in bulk - Recent SEA trend: Over has hit in 4 of past 5 Seattle games - Recent BAL trend: Over has hit in 7 of last 10 Baltimore games - Cross-source consensus: SportsLine 10K-sim model projects Over 9 combined runs
Edge math: - Implied prob at 1.91 = 52.4% - My estimate: ~57-60% (Bassitt allows runs + Camden Yards + recent over trends both sides) - Edge: ~4-7% โ Moderate tier (Strong-level math, demoted because mildly correlated with Pick #1)
Risk flags: - Hancock can spin a gem โ Mariners up 5-0 by 3rd doesn't always go over 9 - Pace dynamics if SEA jumps out big (mop-up relief slows scoring)
Pick #3 โ LEAN: Athletics +1.5 Run Line @ ~2.02
Bet: Athletics +1.5 (vs Brewers) Decimal odds: ~2.02 (+102 American) Stake: $14.82 โ To win ~$15.12 (returns $29.94)
Step 4 research: - Series context: Athletics host in Sacramento at 10:05 PM ET - Cross-source consensus: Dimers identifies as 6.7% edge play, 56.2% probability - Plus-money on a run line: Rare โ means books expect A's to keep it close-ish even as the underdog
Edge math: - Implied prob at 2.02 = 49.5% - Dimers: 56.2% (6.7% edge) - My estimate: ~52-55% (A's keep most games close at home; Brewers favored but not blowing teams out) - Edge: ~3-6% โ Lean tier
Risk flags: - 10:05 PM ET start โ late if you want to know the result tonight - A's bullpen has been shaky; can give up late insurance runs - Need confirmed starters; pitching matchup not specified in research
Plays considered, not making the cut
- Yankees/Guardians Over 7.5 @ ~2.04: Dimers had 6.6% edge BUT both pitchers ~3.20 ERA โ close pitching matchup is a real Under counter-signal. Skipping despite Dimers' rating.
- Yankees ML: Below band most likely (will be ~-160 to -180); even if in band, edge thin
- Phillies @ Blue Jays: Need confirmed starters; pass
- Reds @ Padres: SD home favorite but edge below threshold per quick read
SGP opportunity check
For tonight's Mariners-focused build (if bet365 50% boost is still available):
- Leg 1: Mariners ML @ ~1.79
- Leg 2: Mariners team total OVER 4.5 @ ~1.80 (correlated with SEA winning)
- Leg 3: Hancock Over 4.5 strikeouts @ ~1.70 (high baseline)
Naive parlay: 1.79 ร 1.80 ร 1.70 = 5.48 Boosted (50%): 1 + (5.48-1) ร 1.5 = 7.72 (likely de-rates to ~4.50-5.50 in-app)
Verify the actual boosted decimal before booking.
My recommendation
Pick #1 (Mariners ML) is the cleanest play tonight โ same fade-Bassitt thesis that worked for us on 5/28 with the Blue Jays, plus Hancock has the form edge. Multiple models support.
Pick #2 (Over 9) is the strongest correlated alternative if you prefer totals.
Tonight is a one-bet board by the workflow. SCF G4 tomorrow will have its own setup; bigger NHL/NBA edge plays come later this week.
Tell me what you took (or skip) and the actual price.
