Step 3 โ€” Schedule Verification

MLB Monday slate (13 games โ€” busy evening)

World Cup Round of 32 (3 games โ€” knockout begins for these brackets)

Step 4 โ€” Per-Game Research

CIN @ MIL (7:40 PM, American Family Field) โญโญโญ MARQUEE EDGE

Confirmed starters: - Robert Gasser (MIL, 8-3, 1.45 ERA, 138 K in 93 IP, 0.75 WHIP) โ€” putting up legitimate Cy Young numbers - Nick Lodolo (CIN, 5-5, 4.99 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, 59 K in 79.1 IP)

The pitching gap is enormous: - 3.54 ERA differential favoring Milwaukee - Gasser: K/9 of 13.4, WHIP 0.75 (microscopic) - Lodolo: K/9 of 6.7, WHIP 1.40 (gives up baserunners) - Brewers have won past 2 Gasser starts with 1.54 ERA and .154 OBA

Lines: - Brewers -152 (decimal 1.66), Reds +128 (decimal 2.28) - Total: 9.0 (or 8.5)

Read: This is the cleanest pitching mismatch on the entire MLB board tonight. Gasser is having an elite season, Lodolo is league-average at best. Brewers are home, better team, better record. This is the play we keep finding work โ€” Brewers-ML-anchored over the last two outings produced +$24.50.

DET @ NYY (7:05 PM, Yankee Stadium)

Confirmed starters: - Casey Mize (DET, 3.32 ERA) vs Ryan Weathers (NYY, 4.13 ERA)

Records: DET 35-49 vs NYY 48-35 - But Yankees in 3-7 freefall, just got SWEPT in Boston - Tigers also lost 5 of 6 โ€” both teams cold

Lines: - Yankees -149 (decimal 1.67), Tigers +124 (decimal 2.24) - Total: 7.5

Model: Yankees 54.7%

Read: Despite the record gap, the pitching edge belongs to Detroit. Mize (3.32) > Weathers (4.13). Yankees are reeling. Tigers at +124 (2.24) is fair to slight value โ€” model says 45.3% true, we'd estimate ~48-52%. Marginal edge. Pass on ML, but Tigers +1.5 RL could work, and Under 7.5 is interesting with two-pitcher-friendly matchup.

BRA vs JPN (1:00 PM, Houston) โญ WC R32

Read: - Brazil won Group C with 7 pts undefeated - Japan unbeaten too (W1-D2-L0, 5 pts in tough Group F) - Brazil clearly better team but Japan has been organized and dangerous - Knockout stakes mean Brazil won't rotate โ€” they need to advance - Brazil ML implied 57.5%, true estimate ~62-67% โ†’ +5-10% edge

Risk flags: Japan's defensive discipline + Brazil propensity for slow starts in knockouts (lost to Croatia 2022). Real upset risk but priced for it.

GER vs PAR (4:30 PM, Boston) โญ WC R32

Read: - Germany on 11-match win streak entering tournament - 9 goals scored in 2 meaningful group games - Paraguay has the WORST expected goal differential of any qualified team (-1.51 per 90) - Germany ML implied 75.2%, true estimate ~78-82% โ†’ +3-7% edge - Heavy chalk but justified

Risk flags: Single-game knockout variance. Paraguay parks the bus, gets one set-piece goal, Germany misses chances. Real risk profile.

NED vs MAR (9:00 PM, Monterrey) โ€” WC R32

Read: - Netherlands won Group F (10-4 GD) โ€” top of group, FIFA #7 - Morocco 2nd Group C (6-3 GD) โ€” FIFA #6 - Effectively a coin flip โ€” closest matchup of the day - NED averaged 3+ goals/game in group; MAR solid defense - Netherlands at 2.20 implied 45.4%, true estimate ~48-53% โ†’ +3-7% edge but coin-flip risk

Step 5 โ€” Edge Math & Pick Selection

Pick #1 โ€” STRONG: Brewers ML @ ~1.66 โญโญโญ

Bet: Milwaukee Brewers Moneyline (vs Reds) Decimal odds: 1.66 Stake: $26.41 โ†’ To win ~$17.43, returns $43.84

Edge math: - Implied prob at 1.66 = 60.2% - True estimate: ~65-70% based on: - Gasser 1.45 ERA / 0.75 WHIP vs Lodolo 4.99 ERA / 1.40 WHIP (3.54 ERA gap) - MIL has the better team and home park - Past 2 Gasser starts: 1.54 ERA, .154 OBA โ€” currently elite form - Edge: ~5-10% โ†’ Strong tier

Risk flags: - American Family Field has decent home-run rates - Reds have power bats (Friedl, EDLC) - Gasser could have one off start

Pick #2 โ€” STRONG: SGP โ€” Brewers ML + Gasser 6+ K + Game Under 9.0

Construction (if 30% boost available โ€” verify with bet365): - Leg 1: Brewers ML @ 1.66 - Leg 2: Gasser Over 5.5 K @ ~1.50 (averages 13.4 K/9 โ€” hits 6+ K in vast majority of starts) - Leg 3: Game Under 9.0 @ ~1.91 (1.45 + 4.99 = 6.44 combined ERA โ†’ favors Under)

Naive: 1.66 ร— 1.50 ร— 1.91 = 4.76 Likely de-rate ~25%: realized ~3.55 With 30% boost: boosted ~4.62

If boost is available, this is the highest +EV construction on the board: - Each leg has independent positive edge - Gasser dominance correlates with all three legs simultaneously - Same playbook as our biggest wins (CLE/MIL +$48.75, CIN/NYY +$48.75)

Edge estimate at boosted 4.62: True ~28% (0.68 ร— 0.78 ร— 0.55) vs implied 21.6% โ†’ +6-7%

Pick #3 โ€” MODERATE-STRONG: Brazil ML @ 1.74 (WC R32)

Bet: Brazil Moneyline vs Japan Decimal odds: 1.74 Stake: $26.41 โ†’ To win ~$19.55, returns $45.96

Edge math: - Implied at 1.74 = 57.5% - True estimate: ~62-67% (Brazil clearly better, knockout pressure favors talent) - Edge: ~5-9% โ†’ Moderate-Strong tier

Risk flags: - Knockout variance is real (Brazil lost to Croatia 2022) - Japan unbeaten and well-organized - Draw is genuine possibility (Japan has 2 draws already)

Pick #4 โ€” MODERATE: Germany ML @ 1.33 (chalk play)

Bet: Germany Moneyline vs Paraguay Decimal odds: 1.33 Stake: $26.41 โ†’ returns $35.13, profit $8.72

Edge math: - Implied at 1.33 = 75.2% - True estimate: ~80% (Germany 11-match win streak, Paraguay worst xGD) - Edge: ~3-7% โ†’ Moderate, but payout is small

Plays considered, not making the cut

My recommendation

Pick #1 (Brewers ML at 1.66) is the cleanest single-leg play on the entire board โ€” MLB or WC. Gasser's 1.45 ERA / 138 K in 93 IP is genuine Cy-Young-caliber dominance, against a Lodolo who's been giving up runs all season. This is the same playbook that won us +$24.50 last week.

If bet365 has the 30% boost available, Pick #2 (Gasser SGP) is the higher-EV play โ€” same anchor but the K and Under legs amplify the boost dramatically. Verify boost status first; if not available, take Pick #1 straight.

Pick #3 (Brazil ML) is the secondary play if you want to spread risk across MLB + WC. ~5-9% edge, solid construction. But the disciplined move is to concentrate stake on Brewers, not split.

Avoid Yankees in any form tonight. They're cold, we just lost on them, and the pitching is worse. Don't tilt-bet into the same team.

Stake $26.41 disciplined at 20%. A clean Brewers ML hit returns ~$44 (profit $17.43). If the Gasser SGP boost is live, returns up to ~$122 at boosted 4.62.

This is the kind of clean pitching mismatch the workflow is designed to find. Pitching matters most when one side has a sub-2.00 ERA arm against a sub-5.00 ERA arm.

Tell me what you book.
